SILVER KRIS / the upper sterling silver sheath chased with dense flora, exceptional silver Kris Sulawesi. Circa 1950.

Warangka: Tengah Sulawesi Bugis

Pamor: Udan Mas / Rain of Gold / Sekar Susun, similar to Wos Beras Wutah / Scattered rice grains, pamor mlumah.

The pamor or damascening is the pattern on the surface of a kriss blade. The pamor is the most important part of the keris, as according to common belief, it has strong magic power and influence of one pamor pattern is not the same as that of another. More keris here.
