One pair antique authentic eroded Patung Penunggu Serawai Rumah Dayak. These are different from Family Statues, they are not representation of the family members but instead protection from spirits. These Patungs were placed at the frontal garden to a Dayak home.

Description

This ERODED STATUE was Erected from Kalimantan Barat. Each carved from a single piece hardest wood known to man, Belian / Iron / Billion wood.

Circa 1850-1900. Due to extreme age even the faces are no longer that visible but otherwise in good condition, never repaired.

Origin: Kalimantan Barat. Borneo.

Height: 54 & 70 cm / 21.3 & 27.6 inches
