Description
DUCK STATUE / animalistic figurine, with a Dayak marking on it’s neck, Iban tribe. It is unclear why a duck represented the Lupong bowl, rather than a chicken which were commonly used for sacrificial rites as well as other Borneo container. Circa 1960, in beautiful condition, certainly no decay. Head of this duck statue is detachable. More statues here.
