A powerful 815mm long Dayak machete, Parang Jimpul.  Hilt and scabbard decorated with several pieces of real antler/deer horn, adorn with tied motifs of a Dayak warrior figurine and Buah Berinjan / creeper vine on the hilt, whereas the scabbard decorated with Crocodile sculpture. Traditional usable weapon, sharp.

Asian Machete / Parang Jimpul, Dayak tribe. Headhunter. A must have, MORE BEAUTIFUL IN REAL LIFE! Blade pitted with rust, but otherwise it remains sturdy, sharp and a powerful weapon. Circa 1965, Sarawak Borneo. More weapons here.

A Parang (Asian Machete) is used primarily as a chopping tool or weapon. With a heavy blow, a parang can penetrate flesh or bone, while relatively little effect would be obtained by means of a cutting stroke. Borneo, Malaysia
