SILVER DAGGER / the entire Pendok and Gandar / Scabbard ornately chased from sterling silver, an exceptional Palembang silver dagger with it’s classic Palembang Bird Hilt. Circa 1960.

Warangka: Tengah Sumatra Palembang.

Pamor: Wos Beras Wutah / Scattered rice grains and Ngulit Semangka / Watermelon Skin, both are pamor mlumah. Extend society, luck and peaceful life.

The pamor or damascening is the pattern on the surface of a kris blade. The pamor is the most important part of the keris, as according to common belief, it has strong magic power and influence of one pamor pattern is not the same as that of another. More keris here.
