Exceedingly gorgeous, a pair of  Borneo Dayak Shield Armor for the Kumang Gawai ceremony/Harvesting Festival, less than 15 years old. Each carved from wood featuring dense and complex tied motifs of Dragons Eye and Buah Berinjan/Creeper Vine. Such lightweight armors were preferred during war in pre WWI era.

TRADITIONAL ARMOR / Tribal Shield, extremely detailed and beautiful artwork. Gorgeous for wall hanging, pub, bar, dining hall and office. Each shield comes complete with a handle to grip. Dayak art, Borneo.
