Ceremonial Dagger / Badek Badik Melayu / Malay Dagger.

Scabbard & hilt made traditionally from real latex(not wood) of the rubber tree. No more than 30 years old, damage free.
Sometimes referred to as a butterfly knife due to its shape, but not to be confused with the Chinese or Filipino butterfly knives.

To carry a badik, one has to insert it in a waist-band. The badik ceremonial dagger, said to be the most popular dagger among Malays, originally originated from Sumatra and Jawa.
